Everyone has a name. And for many in the AAPI community, they carry a deep history.
But acts of mispronunciation and misidentification make Asian-Americans feel outcasted in the US, now more than ever.
Created and produced by an all-AAPI team and released for APAHM, "The Name" launched a film and social campaign that showed how small efforts - like learning someone's name - can help everyone feel like they belong. Making 4B+ impressions, it also sparked countless conversations online around the significance of Asian identities.
